HOW IS PAYMENT INFORMATION COLLECTED AND STORED?
All prices in our store are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and our store is hosted by Shopify (www.shopify.com). The payments available are: Visa, Mastercard, Paypal. If a customer chooses a direct payment gateway to complete their purchase, then Shopify stores their credit card data by encrypting it through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by this store and its service providers.
HOW IS CUSTOMER INFORMATION USED?
The collected customer information is used to fulfill our service and obligations to our customers in the best, most effective way possible.
A customer’s email or phone number may be used to notify the customer of any updates or issues with their order or payment. A customer’s email may also be used to keep the customer up to date with the developments of One Tiny Tribe including, but not limited to, special offers and promotions. Customers can choose to opt out of marketing emails from One Tiny Tribe at any time by emailing email@example.com and telling us they don’t wish to get these types of emails. Customers are then always welcome to change their minds and opt back in to receive marketing emails from One Tiny Tribe.
To help One Tiny Tribe get to know customers better, and cater to their needs on a more person and effective level, customers can choose to create an account with One Tiny Tribe during checkout. If a customer creates an account with One Tiny Tribe we will store their postal address so they can enjoy a more efficient checkout process in the future. We will use a customer’s contact name and address to ensure that their order is shipped correctly, so it’s important to provide us with the correct details. A customer’s profile may be used to record their order history and e-mail correspondence with One Tiny Tribe.

Collected customer information is stored safely and securely on a secure and confidential database hosted by Shopify Inc. who provide our online e-commerce platform. The customer data is accessible by authorised employees or agents of One Tiny Tribe.
WHAT ABOUT A CUSTOMER’S INFORMATION SHARED VIA SOCIAL MEDIA?
Information shared with One Tiny Tribe via our social media channels will be treated in accordance with this policy at all times. However, we can’t govern the use of a customer’s information by third parties, including the social media platform the customer is using to engage with us and other users.
DOES ONE TINY TRIBE SHARE CUSTOMER INFORMATION WITH ANYONE?
All customer information stored in One Tiny Tribe’s database hosted by Shopify Inc. is treated as highly confidential at all times and may only ever be disclosed if One Tiny Tribe is required to do so by law or if a customer violates our Terms and Conditions.
